The story is classic and sweet: the Grinch is up to something to ruin Christmas and you're there to stop him (or are you?!). The way you're pulled into the game is simply fantastic. The game master gave us a sensational intro, setting a winter atmosphere so convincingly that we forgot about the heat outside. The decor, the smell of Christmas (yes, you read that right), the lights, the sound—everything blends perfectly with the narrative. With every door you open, you unravel a little more of the Grinch's secret plan.
One detail we always appreciate: the intro story ties seamlessly into the mission and the final puzzle. You know from the start why you're there and what you need to solve. You're working toward a clear final objective.
Grinch - The Last Christmas is a linear room with logical progress—never frustrating, very well put together. We'd place the difficulty somewhere between easy and medium, so you can forget about the anxiety of the timer on the wall. Go in and enjoy everything the room has to offer; hunt for all the excellently crafted details. There's enough time. In fact, we'd even say a few extra puzzles wouldn't have hurt, or that some existing ones could have been slightly harder instead of finding all the objects needed for certain puzzles in one spot. Technologically speaking, there's nothing to complain about. A 2026 escape room—modern, fully automated, and genuinely innovative in some respects.
The highlight: a completely unexpected singing puzzle! Funny, clever, and mega original. Bravo again!
The atmosphere is the reason you literally don't want to leave. A remarkable set straight out of storybooks, and a special ingenuity in elevating the mood through scents in the air, sounds and music, lights, and even temperature changes! Everything helps you disconnect completely from reality and gives you a level of comfort and wellbeing you don't usually find in an escape room. After the finale, we stayed another 10 minutes just to enjoy the decor again—we didn't want to miss anything.
Grinch - The Last Christmas is a perfect escape room for a family with kids or for anyone just discovering escape rooms. Even if you're an experienced team, go for the simple reason of relaxing and enjoying a top-tier experience of rare originality. If you're looking for something different and want a pure hour of have-fun that leaves you with a huge smile, Grinch is exactly what you need!
