As the name suggests, the scenario feels straight out of Agatha Christie's novels. The story is built around the famous adventures of Hercule Poirot, known for mystery, detailed and psychological observations. The set was built specifically to give you the feeling of being in an authentic train carriage. The elements are integrated elegantly and in a balanced way, composing a genuinely pleasant visual atmosphere.
Being a new room, we went in expecting a fully automated experience (or at least 80–90%). We did, however, find quite a few locks and combination dials here. Although we understand their use at certain points in the story, we would have liked to see more modern mechanisms. The puzzle difficulty is medium, accessible to most players, with a linear thread that's easy to follow.
One aspect we feel could have been used better is the intensity of the game; we would have liked a gradual increase in difficulty that keeps you on the edge of your seat towards the end.
