If we were to choose a single word to describe the Excalibur room, it would be 'Royalty'. British Royalty from the 5th century. The narrative thread is built around the Knights of the Round Table, in a world of magic and honor. Even though we didn't find Merlin around the corner (or maybe we did?), the room impressed us instantly with its decor very well aligned with the era.
Excalibur seemed to us a room of medium to hard difficulty, which seriously put our minds to work at certain steps. We thank the gamemaster again on this occasion. However, all puzzles are built with logic, are linear and flow naturally with the story.
We were also impressed by how they managed to make the transition smooth between story stages and even add an unexpected surprise between them. All puzzles are automated, the mechanization being very well executed. We don't know exactly when the room was launched, but it seems very new.
Even though it's a more difficult challenge, Excalibur is a unique experience on the Bucharest market. We recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy 99 minutes of adventure in a superb room, where visible effort has been made so that every detail serves the story.
ⓘ Currently we use a custom image for presenting the room in the review. If you are from
